Become a Part of the Tribal Energy Revolution!

With each year, the move to renewable energy and sustainable building is becomming a reality. And 2016 will prove to be no exception. According to The Solar Foundation’s National Solar Jobs Census 2015, job growth in sectors like solar energy continues to exceed growth expectations.

"The (solar) industry is adding workers at a rate nearly 20 times faster than the overall economy and accounting for 1.3% of all jobs created in the U.S. over the past year."

There is a very real and evolving need for better energy solutions on reservations, as desperately poor families struggle to fulfill even their most basic requirements for adequate shelter and heat. We believe that renewable energy is a sustainable, economical, and environmentally friendly solution to many of the energy issues facing tribal communities today.

Trees, Water & People (TWP), along with our partners Lakota Solar Enterprises (LSE) and Solar Energy International (SEI) wants to put you at the forefront of these exciting opportunies by offering workshops in solar energy, sustainable building, food sovereignty, and green business development.
